Good general-use bike models

An incomplete listing of brand names and models of bicycles that are good choices for utility bike, commuting or general use needs. Don't forget about those non name-brand or vintage jewels that may be found by searching locally too.

Brand Models
Breezer Joe Breeze, one of the original mountain bike builders has shifted focus to building utility bikes. All models focus on utility in their design.
Kogswell The Porteur/Randonneur is a nice 650B bike featuring a versatile porteur rack. The modern version of the eponymous French bike of the 1940s to 1960s.
Novara The Transporter, features lights, racks and fenders as standard, well suited for utility use.
Surly Durable, affordable, steel frames. Many models are good choices for utility biking, especially the Long Haul Trucker.
